Yea for him!! Kudos!!! This must be a good day. Last night (11 pm) I put my FIFI into her crate (instead of leaving her in her pen) to go to sleep. I heard her moving around at 3 am. I took her out and she went on her pad (I put her in the one in her pen). I then heard her moving around at 5 am. Out again we went. ANd, again she went on her pad. I left her in there at that point and gave her breakfast. I crawled back into sleep for one more hour. I got her to go on command each time (becasue she had to go so bad) and praised her with hugs and yeas (she doesn't take treats). I am hoping that she will learn to hold it longer through the night now. I like the crate method because then you are able to get them to go on command. I was afraid that she was too small to do it but I am going to keep trying this through the nights and hope that it works. I will still keep her in the pen during the day unless anyone thinks differently. I work from 7 am until 5ish most days. ANy thoughts from anyone????

In the meantime, my kudos go to you and good luck! It will work out. - kathy
