I love Teddy but out of all my dog's i've had he's been the hardest to potty train...Sophie and london got it right away..no accidents, no marking, nada...geesh. i know there are male dogs that are 100% potty trained but i havent had such luck with them I guess when i am not here i will just have to put a baby diaper on him or something cause i can't lock him up..i've never done that. i really dont know...but he must know it's wrong cause as soon as he sees that i see what he did he looks guilty |
Awe don't let one male dog ruin it for you LoL I told myself when I was getting another dog that I was gonna get another female. I got a boy, and he was THE EASIEST to potty train. I swear to you, 4 days and he had it down pat at 10 weeks old. Marley is a different story. She is the one that peed on my bed. Granted I got her at 8 months from a pet store here where she was used to wallowing in her own feces in a cage all day for 8 months ( breaks my heart just thinking about it). I don't get upset with her though, I understand she tries her hardest. Enough with my rambling.. I would get him a belly band.. no diaper...nothing wrong with diapers though, just my personal preference. And I know you can always see if he has a UTI or some other infection at the vet if this doesn't stop. I thought it was odd that since my husband isnt home ( been out on business for a month ) that she peed on his side 2 times ( out of the 3 or 4 times that shes done it ) . Maybe she is telling me that " This is my spot now " LOL
