How old is your little one?
My twins just turned 5 months old and they seem to slowly be breaking silver but I had their sister who pasted away and it seemed like she broke silver a lot earlier. I think it just depends. I am having an easier time with their coats as their sisters was nice and silky but I had to brush it at least twice a day for it not to get matted...and even than it did. Eventually I shaved her down because she wasn't a happy camper.... The new coat was coming in and it was a dark blue color.
Anakin and Bella seem to be a little slower with their color development... But their coats are much easier to tend to. I brush them at night and sometimes it's just a 30 second brush because they don't have any mats!
They are mostly matted when they are rubbing on the carpet and play fighting... Than they look like Einstein
