do you play with him after he goes potty? i've read that sometimes they will hold it outside until you play with them because they don't want to go inside yet...sometimes when Sadie takes too long in her little pen to go pee, i'll let her out into the bigger yard to play with her and usually she'll pee out there during our play time...she's pretty good about going on command, but sometimes she just wants to play first.
