[Nikko's_human]

I just posted about this very same thing. I just got my new puppy last week, a 3 month old female maltese. Nikko is 4 years old and has always been the only furchild in the house, a real momma's boy. He is having a hard time accepting Aspen, the new puppy. She bites and chases him and he gets so annoyed with her. He spends most of the day avoiding her by jumping up on the couch. I know eventually they will learn to get along, but for now its a little hard. I think you should go for it. It may take some adjusting in the beginning but eventually everyone will be better off for it. I don't regret getting my little princess and I know eventually Nikko will learn to love her too.
