We got our second yorkie back in the end of May. Our other is 2 years old and i was worried about the same thing. I am sooooooooo happy that i got the second. They entertain eachother, i dont feel guilty when i have to leave. Its great! The best advice that i was given by my breeder and by my vet was to NOT change my first dogs routine. Keep him the number one dog. So i feed him first, greet him first, give him a treat first, let him walk ahead of the other. He sleeps on the bed with us still and the puppy is in the crate. Because of that we havent had any fight for power. He is the Alpha and the new little guy knows it. I wish you luck finding the right dog. Its so worth it!
