"We do a lot of praying...we cannot save them all. That is the hardest part of it all. When I first started out rescuing it did not seem this bad...seeing what I see now I sometimes wish I could go back to my naive state of mind." A difference is being made even if it's a few being saved, getting the medical attention they deserve and going to a good forever home. We are thankful for all the volunteers here. I work rotating shifts so volunteering/rescue is difficult. Fostering/donation$/awareness is the best, and fairest, I can give now. Five years when I am eligible to stop work it's a different story.
