This is what I did.
1. Inhale slowly to the count of 6. Exhale slowly to the count of 6. Repeat as needed.
2. Taught 'leave it' & 'drop it' command. Treat/praise each time. Your voice must mean business... no wimpy voice but no yelling. Be very watchful & consistant. Repeat every single time dog has something shouldn't have.
3. Try Bitter Apple or Bitter Yuck on household items that she chewed on.
4. Side tracked her with toy to get the item being chewed.
5. Once I was totally exhausted, start & repeat steps 1-5.

Remember, he is still a baby & all this chewing is very normal... even for skin babies. This stage will pass as he gets his teething stage over. The first few months are the hardest. Teaching him some basic commands like sit, down, stand, etc will help keep his little brain busy.

Be consistant & patience, patience, patience! Things will get better. Good luck!
