Ha, yes, a lot of ladies like to leave their mark too. I can see it being difficult if there's grass on both sides of the sidewalk, as that is a lot of temptation to pass by. However, you can take your dog for brisk walks, not "sniff and squirt" ones. Teach them to pay attention to you and walk purposefully by all those lovely green lawns. Then when you get to the corner, they can sniff and mark the mailbox, fire hydrant and street lamp to their heart's content.
