I was born and raised in GA, so I understand your concerns that have nothing to do with the law. I would feel the same. I think your husband is right on the money! Just do it in writing and keep copies just because it's good practice. I just love "all red neck great guys." Grew up with many, still know a fair number, and have my share of them among my relatives. The salt of the earth!
