i got Sadie at 7 weeks, i know this is way too early according to YT, i believe it would be better to wait until 12 weeks. Sadie is doing fine and she's healthy, but i think we will have to really work hard on her nipping and biting which she would have learned from mom and siblings if left there until 10-12 weeks.
just remember if you get a pup at 8 weeks to feed them several meals a day or free feed, make sure they eat and get plenty of water, and have karo syrup or nutrical on hand at all times just in case they have a hypoglycemia attack.
have the vet check the pup out within three days of getting her to be sure it's fine when purchased and that you feel better about the pup's health as well. |
