Well you can call me childish because I grabbed my little shovel and scooped up several piles and tossed in into their driveway....Never had another problem.
You are my hero -- I have had daydreams of doing that myself but have never had the guts to do it. Our biggest offender is a huge golden that lives behind us. It is the same as you described, they let him out and he immediately comes to our yard to do his morning business. Sometimes other times of day too but every morning like clockwork. I probbaly won't dish up his piles to their drive but it is very tempting!

He also has a very nasty habit of bringing his "kill" to my yard to eat -- this might be a rabbit carcass or a bunch of tin cans from someone's garbage (he literally chews these up!) and once it was half a deer carcass that I think a hunter may have rudely discarded in the woods. I called the owner about the tin cans and she just laughed and said yes, he chews on cans (no offer to pick up all the cans scattered in my front yard!) and I called her again about the deer carcass. She said no way did her dog kill a deer, which I agreed but said he did drag it in my yard. Again, no offer to get rid of it. Half of my yard cleanup is from their dog.

There are definately some drawbacks to living out in the country -- but it should not be like this if everyone would just keep their own pets in their own yards, unless they are with them.
