I don't let my two go in anyone's yard. I just feel like it's common courtesy more than anything else. We do have some people who allow theirs to use our "toilet" and I would definitely prefer that they not go there, but it happens. I too worry about any diseases that might be passed. The one that infuriates me more than a dog is my next door neighbor's cat. It wanders day and night, has knocked birds right off my feeders and eaten them (once in front of my grandkids) and has taken to using my bushes as his own personal litterbox. I've tried talking to them...their answer is that's just a cat's natural instinct. My natural instincts aren't very nice when it comes to their cat!!!
