Hello...
I am new to posting information on the site..Please bare with me if I posted the information in the incorrect area.
My yorkie went to the vet on Monday 8/10/09 and rec'd the distemper (DAP), Lepotosipirosis (4-way vaccine) and the lyme disease vaccine. While on the way home she vomitted then when we got home she just laid down. After a couple of hours she started scratching alot, breathing hard and broke out in hives. I took her back to the vet they stated she had an allegric reaction to the shot and gave her a shot like benadryl (from here on out the vet wants to pre medicate her before her shots...is there anything I can do at home before she goes to the vet to get her shots????)..
It has been three days and she is not up to her normal self...Although she is eating and drinking water but not playful and only wants to sleep. Should I take her back to the vet? Please help what can I do...I feel sorry for her... |
