PetEdge: Andis QuietAire Ionic/Ceramic Pet Dryer It is a LOT quieter than my own hair dryer and I think the dogs tolerate it much better. The stand is very handy so you can let it stay put, use one hand to brush, and one hand to secure your dog. It is on sale and quiet a deal at only $20.96. I think I paid twice that at Petsmart. But you do need to place an order for over $60 with Petedge to make it worthwhile. Otherwise you have to pay a surcharge as it is mainly a company that sells wholesale to dealers. But it iseasy to come up with a $60 order. They have the more professional style dryers too. For mine though, I think it is the noise that scares them, so this quiet one was just right.
