So finally heard back! GOOD news!! seems from the aspiration there is no evidence of cancer or an infection, so that is a huge relief!! Based on the results they think its more of a cyst.

On the downside though the surgeon says because they still dont know 100% what it is he thinks we should still remove it.... he is more worried about it growing and eventually making it hard for her to walk then anything else. I am thinking he is right, Im more worried about the cost of it, since at the moment I am a full time graduate student, but I'll look into ways.

If anyone has any experience with this your opinions and advice are more than welcome
