My baby is doing this also and his vet recommended pepacid also. He has been dry heaving up bile past 2 days 2xs a day...before it was just every now and then. I gave him a pepacid today and cooked for him tonight. Usually when I cook for him he does not have this problem...although his regular diet is 1/8 -1/4 dry and a table spoon of canned. I will watch him for this week and if this does not help I guess I have to take him back to the vet.
I am glad there is a name for this that does not sound too threatening.
How often does your baby take the pepacid...my vet told me to give it to him for 4 days....I did that about 2 months ago and he was good for a while and just an episode maybe once in 3 weeks. So now I know it is something he will always have and will need the pepacid continuously.
