since she had most of her vaccines; i take her once or twice a week for a walk in the park; i don't worry since i use the halo herbal shampoo and the herbal dip which contain tea tree oil and some other stuff that detter the mosquitos, ticks, flees..... she hasn't had anything bite her yet. and i feel good since i am not using anything harmfull on her. she only eats the halo and sometimes the boiled chicken which i cook for her; she gets tested for heartworm and parasites; and so far so good; she does get the dewormer from the vet every 6 months; so that makes feel better, knowing that she's getting some type of preventative. i really dont think there is a need to use the pestecide on the little baby; i mean if this stuff is harmfull for humans, doesn't that mean it's harmfull for dogs too. do some research on pestesides since that's the ingredient in the flea control medication. i am always reading ingredients because i work in a pharmaceutical field and i know how harmfull chemicals can do; read up on the ingredients in the heartworm pill and flea control medication (which are carcinogen- can cause cancer in the long run)
