i found out that's it's really up to us to make the decision to keep buying and giving these medicaitons monthly to our babies; i figured as long as my dog is not eating raw meat and not spending most of the time outside; there is no need of putting her body in stress; remember these are medications and the kidney and liver has to process them; meaning they go in the blood; not just superficial. this whole thing is really a muti billion contract between vets and pharmaceutical companies to keep selling these unecessary medications. i understand a person might need them for a german shepard or rotweiler; but for a tiny yorkie; i think not.
anyway when you have time do more research about the flee medications, which is an insecticide and if licked or ingested it could be fatal.
