He was not an alarmist and seemed to know about the breed. Unfortunately, I do not remember his name.
hey! I wanted to give you an update. I have to say I was seriously impressed with the staff at AVG. When I first walked in the waiting area was tiny and there was a lot of people.. two other yorkies and some bigger dogs and cats. But I thought, this may be a good thing. Anyway, the ladies behind reception were super nice and helpful. The man that escorted us in was like the dr assistant and he had the nicest bedside manner, warm and friendly and you could tell he really loved animals. I didnt have to wait long at all to see the doc - Dr. Jay - she was unbelievebaly nice! She answered all my questions and concerns and totally put me at ease. She split the shots up for me, like I asked the other doctor to do and he refused too - she said that was a lie and didnt know why he wouldnt do it for me. She was really helpful and gave Maxi an indepth checkup. I was very happy with her and she was gentle with Maxi and while giving the shots. I highly recommend them. Also, she didnt try to sell me anything, she just suggested that I start him on frontline and heartguard but didnt force me to get anything from them. Super nice and worth the trip.
