Hmmm no disrepect meant but I would question a vet that doesn't know this is very common in toy breeds and especially in Yorkies. Most people have them removed when they neuter their pet as Yorkies should never be put under to many times. This is also a great time to have your puppy micro-chipped if you are going to do this. Cost is all over the board for this in different towns or states.
