No, you completely misunderstood what I meant when I said it was a "mistake." I didn't mean you made a mistake by going in the store. You were questioning the reasons behind the different registries that you saw in the pet store--the fact that they are supplied by puppy mills should be indication alone of what quality breeders are behind them. THAT was what I meant by saying it was a "mistake."
