It is quite common in yorkies. I just had Coco, and Pebbles done a few weks ago. It was $10 per tooth plus anesthesia. Came to about $120 or so per dog. Usually they are done when they get spayed or neutered, but at the time I had mine done their adult teeth hadn't come in yet.
