My Yorkie is also a biter and lunger. He is now over 1 yrs. old and has been neutered. My husband can do alot more with him than I can. He was an only fur baby so he is very secure and independent. He has never liked to be cuddled much, but is getting better. He wants to play all the time and has more energy that any of us know what to do with. I think if you could find some way to give your dog more exercise, such as swimming, that he would be much calmer. They also need to be walked a lot. I think it is just going to take time and trying different methods of training. Some are harder to train than others, but what he is displaying is typical terrier behavior.
