I called the vet and asked him about the possibility of pyometra and he said that the bloodwork would have shown somthing if it was that, so he did not think it was that. he did say that after I left he looked closer at a smear and it showed what is called mykoplasma. it is a living organisms that attacks red blood cells which is why she would be anemic. I am going to pick up her medicine right now. if anyone has had any experience with this, please give me some advice. hopefully the medicine works.
