Also I don't know the sound your explaining but Karlee did'nt bark or make any noise for almost 2 days it scared me but I think she was just being quite and learning about us first. Now she will let us know things she likes and does'nt we found out this week I decided to let her sleep in our spare bathroom so she would have more room I felt sorry for her in a small playpen and with a crate (she learned quickly to jump out of the playpen even without the crate in there to climb on the climb out she can still jump out of the playpen with nothing in there LOL) so she got upset at us for putting her in the bathroom that night she cried (sounded just like a chicken noise not a dog noise very unusual sound for us to hear =) so we had to put her back in the crate and sit her by our bed she is fine if she can see me then she will go back to sleep and she loves her crate!) So its very true about how they like small cave like places to sleep I guess Karlee felt overwelmed in a big bathroom with no one around her. So if your Sadie does'nt sound like wheezing maybe she is whining, it sounds very odd the way our Karlee whined that night in the bathroom not like what I've heard from other breeds of dogs. I even asked my cousin who has a Yorkie about the sound and she explained the same noise as what Karlee was doing so I found out its perfectly normal) Hope this helps and please keep us posted on your vet visit.
