Simon is American Idol. There is no show without Simon. I think American Idol intently offered Paula a contract that they knew Paula would not agree too. I do not understand how could American Idol let a know stalker that stalks Paula tryout for the show. I think Kara was always intended to serve as a replacement judge for Paula. I wonder if Kara will change her personality to fit the new dynamics of the show. These are just my opinions .

I want to add that Paula was not that important to them, so they could easily let her go. I will always be a Paula Abdul fan, and I will miss her as a judge on the show.
