I used to have this problem a few years ago. I went to the podiatrist and he told me to do the exercises, which i did and didn't work.
I also got orthotics and I'm still wearing them.
Went back after a 2 months, he had gave me cortizone shots, only 3 'cause if they give you more is not good. btw, they hurt like you have no idea, but i was willing to go thru the pain. Didn't work!
He sent me to physical therapy for a few months, didn't work!
Finally, I had to have surgery which the doctor was trying to avoid, but sometimes depending on how bad he rpoblem is you have no option. I've had them since i was a kid, but got worse when i was in my early 20's.
My feet are so grateful i had the surgery, because they don't hurt anymore!
There is something more sophisticated now. They developed it after my surgery, but now there is this laser procedure that it's supposed ot help you heal faster and can be done at the doctors office.
I'm always reading about that, because i'm always afraid that i'm going to get it again...
