 Vectra
Vectra (for fleas & ticks) is also known as First Sheild Trio. I tried it on Max for one month and had a horrible time with it. I started to notice ticks on him just about every other day! I applied the product, which is very oily by the way, and waited 3 days before giving Max a bath. The vet said I probably need to wait longer before bathing him and that I may have washed some of the product off. My HOA is responsible for treating the yards, which obviously has a tick infestation, but the product should at least protect my dog. I switched to K9 Advantix and now I'm stuck with 4 vials of the Vectra which I paid $60 for.
I hope K9 Advantix works better. I haven't seen any on him yet. |
