Personally reading your work hours its wayyyyyyyy to long to leave her alone in the crate that is nearly 9 hours a day.. in my opinion that is far to long for a 8 month old puppy to be confined.. JMHO tho!!
Secondly I would get up early try to take her out for a walk to pee, come in get ready for work and before you leave maybe she will have to poop OUTSIDE ,give her extra special treats for pooping outside. I think the gated off area you have is great but she is obviously bored if she is chewing walls and playing with poop... try a couple of puzzle toys, a bully stick and a kong, maybe those will keep her busy.. If you cant afford a dog walker maybe you have a teenage in your neighborhood that would like to earn 10-15 bucks a week for coming in and playing with her and taking her for a quick walk..
