This IS a great post - I hope people pay attention and learn that breeding is more than just selling puppies - and you're right - in this economy - the cost of yorkies may be more than some are willing to pay... and to sell just 'to sell' is just taking a chance with the puppy's whole life.....not all homes are good homes
I know someone who just got a new puppy - got her work hours cut and now can hardly afford the dog food - then the poor puppy got a case of mange or a skin condition of some sort... and she promptly put him outside. (It's WICKED hot in Houston)
I did what I could by making calls for her to get the dog help - but dont really know her well enough to really step in and DO something... but it breaks my heart |
