To the OP: I don't understand why you are being so careful about all aspects of starting out this pup's life (supplies on hand, planning on puppy school), EXCEPT for where the puppy comes from. It makes no sense. Also, while you keep saying $1K, I very much doubt yorkies are that expensive where you live. They are more like $700, and cheaper if you are willing to get one that is six months old.
