RachelandSadie That recipe looks interesting.. i tried making my own homemade raw meals when i first started, but they wouldnt eat it.. :-( i had to add a significant amount of green tripe to tempt them..
I am going to try your recipe this weekend, and if they like it this may mean that it will cut down my cost of buying my freeze dried food considerably!
Btw, do you think fresh salmon would be a good substitute for the canned fish? Believe it or not it is cheaper for me to buy fresh salmon than canned plain salmon or sardines (no sauce)!! |
the absolute easiest part would be to cut out the fish in the food, and just pin prick a fish oil pill (i have 1000mg) and pour it over the food every other day..she'll get the same nutrients from that without the expense or stink of sardines or fish..i'm not sure about the salmon, but it's worth a shot i'd guess...good luck i really hope they love it, i hope my Sadie likes it, cause i have a lot stored up for her to eat on...
