I love the bell idea! I am going to have to give that a shot!

Wosie (4 months) goes on newspaper at night (and sometimes during the day because Daddy is not that great at potty training), and I treat for going outdoors. She knows what "go pee pee" means, and can now squeeze out a few drops just to get the treat! I too am impatient with outside time, but reluctant to leave her out because we have too many hawks and I don't want to have her be hawk-bait. So if she doesn't go when I ask her to, I give her only 5 more minutes, and then we go back in. Then I have to watch her like a hawk, lol.

I am working on "go poop", and sometimes she gets it, but most of the time she does her poops in the middle of the night, so that one is going to be harder to train.
