The staff there is the nicest and brightest I've ever seen. I myself was treated like Royalty. I didn't know how to handle it at first. She got the best care that's possible, and yes, Dr. Hollingsworth took care of her at night. They staff 24-7 and always ready for any emergency. I just wish I lived closer. It's 97 miles from me.
Yes, I was so upset over the news about her knees and ligament that I broke down and cried. I just lost it. It just didn't seem fair that this sweet precious little 7 pound girl had to go thru another surgery. (yep, 7 lbs. now thanks to me making sure she lost the excess weight). But you know, she is teaching me that it's ok. She's happy, wants to play with her "sisters" and still dearly loves going to all her favorite haunts in the house. (She has beds, toys and chewy's placed upstairs and down, but she still loves to lay in front of the balcony slider, so I keep it open all day for her. She likes to watch people walking and so on. So we don't look back or dwell on what had to be done, but just fill each day at a time with a positive attitude and lots of love. I'll let you all know how her follow-up goes on Friday. |
