Oh my God. That is my worst nightmare. We live behind a farm that sells fire wood and across the street from a wildlife preserve with a LOT of woods. When my daughter was 4 she was playing in her doll house in the back yard and came and brought me the "dead Hamster" she found. I totally freaked out and called the board of health disinfected my daughter and the doll house. I would die if I found one in my house. Mac & Mellie haven't seen a rat yet. But they chase our resident chip monks, Chip, Dale, and chocolate all around the pool.
