haha I know Im glad Im not the only one that thought this
where I use to live (in the almond) orchard there were Nordic rats? they were as big as cats! and my pest control company knew I had dogs and had used these cans with little holes in them with a lock on top, and filled it with some kind of poison that would make them get thirtsy and when they drank it would kill them! your right I am afraid what they would use? I am going to ask when I call them and explain that I have very curious babies and what type or what do they use and where will they put it? maybe it would just be safer not to even have that kind of service? 011011 advice seems to make sense in regards to them sending in few and seeing how many return? maybe this is the only one? so maybe before I jump the gun I will keep my eyes wide open for any evidence like poo, although I just checked my all my cabinets and drawers and nothing? where else would they hide or how did it get in? I have a doggy door maybe there?

Rats are gnawers....they could climb up anywhere...under the awning to the roof...etc....gnaw their way in...thank god you have a "posse" there to keep you safe!

My sister rented an apartment in some "hip" and upcoming neighborhood near her university here in Chicago. It was beautiful, with french doors, moulded ceilings...fireplace. Well...she woke up one night to see a Rat sitting on her chest! She called me hysterical and could not sleep the whole night. Needless to say....that lease didn't last long...hahaha..
