To the OP - Just a heads up that UKC can also be the abbreviation for Universal Kennel Club which is just another one of the "alternative" registries used by BYB's and puppy mills.

If you are confused, you are not alone. Using similar initials is a deliberate attempt to confuse unsuspecting buyers that they are getting papers from a legitimate registry.
