I was wondering. Did they zoom in on the ball of Shorty's femur when they examined his x-ray?
Zaccheus was holding his right rear leg up and was in a lot of pain, even with Metacam. His first x-ray looked almost normal, until the vet zoomed in to view the femoral head. When it was zoomed in really closely, you could see the beginning of the deterioration.
It was only a few weeks later that he required surgery.
Just wondering...
