Kimberly - welcome back!!!!!! Sending you positive vibes on the Vanderbilt position. My hubby got laid off over two years ago from his HR Director position and has sent out over 1000 resumes all over the country (he also says will pay his own relocation costs). In all that time he has had 6 interviews, but nothing has come to fruitition. He took a position last year as a flight attendant with Mesaba Airlines (a small regional airline under the Northwest/Delta umbrella) so we would at least have health benefits. It is helping to keep our heads above water - but barely as he makes next to nothing!!!!
The upside is we have great travel benefits!!!! And we have really learned what is important in life, though he still needs a real job soon!!!!!
