I got one of my girls when she was 1 1/2 years old & she was never potty trained.....I thought it would never happen....but it did. You have to treat it as if you are training a puppy. If you want them trained to only use the bathroom outside, you have to committ to being able to take them outside frequently until they are., etc. My girls are both outside and pad trained.
Anyway, I have had her for 1 year and she is now potty trained. Quicksilver is right...they learn quickly so just commit to doing it and it will be done before you know it... Just think of all the rescues people get at 2, 3, 4 + years old.
