Our breeder warned us he was paper obsessed. He never met a tag he didn't feel needed ripped off of whatever it was on.

Our pup is a ripper too. He loves to slice magazines into strips. I think he likes the noise it makes. I know this is just a puppy stage but it can be shocking to find the bedroom rug covered with strips of a magazine you haven't finished reading. I agree tho' that it is making us neater. He will grow out of it (I hope)
