I, for one, hope that she returns after a few days. It's apparent she won't change her mind, and in all honesty, as much as I'd like to see disreputable breeders put out of business, what Rachel does or does not do is not going to make one iota of difference in the big picture. I can't imagine the topic will be let go completely until after her Sophie is home with her. Many hope that their words will be the ones that get through. I truly don't believe anyone means to be attacking her.

I also know, from personal experience, that once she has her baby (whatever she decides) many on yt will be here to share her joys.
I feel like I've been walking a tightrope on this thread in hopes of supporting education about disreputable breeders but, at the same time, not scaring away a new member who is obviously completely in love with the idea of being a yorkie mom and committed to providing excellent care as well. She's heard what we have to say and she's made her choice. No hard feelings on my part, its not in my place to hold anyone's decision against them, perhaps, however, I am experiencing just a little sadness.

In a few days, please remind her of all the positive help and comments she received on other topics. I, for one, hope she returns.

Thanks!
I am also new to the threads and have read and followed along but did not say anything...I'm also learning and finding things out that I'm very grateful that all of you have posted. I can understand your thoughts and what has been said and then I understand Rachel's situation with wanting a puppy and she's got her heart set on this sweet lil darling. I know how disappointed and heartbroken I would be if I could'nt get my sweet little Karlee tomorrow. My situation is not like hers so I can't say I understand that part. I'm very grateful the lady that breeds her puppies lives close by to me and I've had a chance to talk to others who have purchased puppies from her in the past and that I have had a chance to go see Karlee and touch base everyday on how she is doing. The lady that I am buying my dog from the first words from her mouth was she would NOT let a puppy come home until it was at least 12 weeks and made sure they were socializing well and eating well and several other things she told me. when I went to go see Karlee she was with her Mommy and Daddy and brother and she seemed like the most precious puppy in the world to me! It breaks my heart if in fact that the person that Rachel buys her puppy from does do what a lot of claims here say and I understand your passion for hoping she will not get the puppy because of that, but like others have stated it will not make a difference at least Rachel will give this puppy a chance and she has researched and learned so much already that she is ready to take on this little puppy. I just think the most important thing is to pray for Rachel's puppy that it will be a happy healthy dog and I look forward to reading more posts and threads once her little Sadie comes home!

I also want to thank all of you for all the posts you've helped me out with and I'm so thankful to have found this site before Karlee comes home tomorrow! I've learned so much and I feel so ready to have Karlee home with us! To everyone here I hope to make friends with all of you and I'm looking forward to more learning and advice!!
