Kibbles such as Orijen use high quality protein which is a great, species-appropriate diet.

Hope that helps.
Thanks everyone for all your help. I was looking to get Orijen but when I saw the protein levels so high I was concerned. You see Cosmo is on one NV medallion and the NV kibble and when our vet took the blood work for his neuturing this Friday his BUN level came back a little high and his potassium. 33 for BUN and 5.8 for potassium. Vet says he is good with everything else - no kidney, etc. issues. He just feels that the protein level in his food is too high and wants me to keep him on the medallion but lower the protein in the kibble. Cosmo is also drinking a ton of water more than usual so we think that's also the protein issue.
