Arghhhhhhhh.....I've applied for over 400 jobs around the country and this STINKS! Anyway, I just applied for my dream job at Vanderbilt University in Nashville and am really hoping it comes through. I'll take any positive vibes I can get 
Simon and Hallie are doing well. Hallie is especially LOVING having me home all the time. Her vision is almost completely gone but she's doing well navigating around the world. Simon gets bored with us a lot so he is still going to daycare and having a lot of playdates.
I have been volunteering a lot at the local foodbank and taking an animal advocacy class through the humane society.

I am so sorry to hear you lost your job!!! Welcome to the club!! The office where I worked closed last November...I have been looking for a job since then...there is NOTHING out here!! THANK GOD Obamah has all these extensions...I don't know what I would do! I do bartend part time but that is hit or miss...very inconsistent money! but, it is helping..
I am 52 yrs old...who will hire me when there are young people out there looking for jobs...And this OVER QUALIFIED CRAP!! Don't these people realize that we DON'T CARE!! it's all about having a job! I have always done administrative work. So when I applied for a job at the local grocery store as a customer service supervisor they told me I was over qualified??!! I am constantly checking job sites and the career center here where I live...there just aren't any jobs out there...It's very depressing...I wish you all the luck in your search. I know it's not an easy one
