 Trying to hump new puppy
Hercules is 6 1/2 months. He has always tried to hump this one toy, his lamp chop puppet. Which is ok with us. Well now with the new puppy, Athena, he's trying to hump her. He's already been fixed, so I'm not worried about that, but I just don't want him to even try. How do I get him to stop???
I've yelled no at him when he mounts her, or even tries to mount her. I recently separated them because I found him on top of her and gave him his lamp chop toy (which we call humpy). He went at it for a bit with humpy. But I'm still wondering if I'm doing the right thing.
