Dear Yorkie Forumites,

My husband and I were in a motorcycle accident last fall. His injuries were much worse than mine. We are both recovering.

On more than one occasion, therapists, doctors, nurses, my mom and a best friend recommended that we become owned by a puppy. Because of my husband's allergies, the doctor suggested a Yorkie.

I have a co-worker who is willing to bring his over for a test. I've also invested in Allerpet, house allergen spray, and doggie allergy shampoo.

My husband loves dogs, but is reluctant to try. If the test works, we are getting a Yorkie. I NEED a Yorkie (for anyone who has a dog, you know how theraputic they can be).

All I ask is for your prayers that we will safely be owned by a Yorkie soon. I believe in the power of prayer. It is what has gotten us to this point in our recovery.
