As long as he has his needs met w/water/food/pee pads, he should be fine...I've always worked, since I got Apple, and she's had to stay by herself for about 8 1/2 hrs. a day...I used to keep her in the kitchen (gated), but now she has the living room/dining room/kitchen and entry hall...The ONLY think is you have to really "baby proof" the room...For me, I have to throw the breaker switch on the plugs in the living room/dining room...I just swtiched them all off and on, 'till I found the right one, and voila, I switch it off in the morning, and switch it on in the evening...It's a "just in case" thing, as she doesn't chew electrical cords, but'cha never know w/these babies...Btw, I, totally, spend every possible waking hour w/her on my day off, and I walk her 30 minutes in the morning, before work, and 30 minutes in the evening, after work...Sometimes I don't feel like it, but it sure does help her w/her exercise, energy level, etc. etc. etc...Hope this helps... |
