Our local aspca has a bunch of animals they brought back from that area. They are adopting them out, not fostering. They've run at least one ad that I've seen with pet's pictures. There were 6 in this group, kitties, puppies, and some dogs. I didn't see any pure breeds. I did wonder if someone, somewhere was searching for their pet(s)
I don't think anyone would consider searching for a pet "lost" in LA....up here in Virginia.
