Can you sign up to be a homeroom mom? That way you can go in for parties and help out. It makes it a little easier! I know how you're feeling. My youngest just finished Kindergarten and will be going into first grade. But in Kindergarten, he only went 1/2 day from 8:20-11:10 so we always do things after school. We usually wind up going to Target and he loves to get pizza there for lunch and that has been our friday ritual since he was in nursery school. Once he starts first grade, I'll be on my own and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with myself! |
